You must be between 18 and 26 years old when applying for the visa.
Do I need to know German? +
You don't need to start with German knowledge. However, for the au-pair visa you usually need basic German skills. I help you prepare step by step for A1 level and the embassy appointment.
How long does the process take? +
From the first consultation to arrival in Germany, it usually takes 3–6 months, depending on the host family search and embassy appointment.
Do you help with the visa? +
I prepare you for the embassy appointment and help you gather all documents. The visa decision is made exclusively by the German Embassy.
Do you guarantee finding a host family? +
I cannot guarantee it, but I actively support you in the search and prepare you optimally for interviews. Most candidates find a suitable family within 4–8 weeks.
How much does the advisory cost? +
The advisory is individually tailored to your goals and current situation. Write me for a free initial consultation – we'll discuss everything there.
Can I become an au pair without childcare experience? +
Childcare experience is desirable but not mandatory. What matters is your motivation and openness.
How does the advisory work? +
The entire advisory takes place online – via WhatsApp, video call or email. This way we can work together flexibly, no matter where you are.
Do I have to be from Ecuador? +
My service is primarily aimed at candidates from Ecuador, but I can also support candidates from other Latin American countries.
What documents do I need for the embassy? +
We'll discuss the exact documents together – I help you gather everything. Generally you need a valid passport, the au-pair contract and a health certificate, among others.
