My story

I'm Lisbet and I live between two worlds – Ecuador and Germany. In 2025, I went through the au-pair program myself in Berlin and lived with a German host family for one year. Through this personal experience, I know the challenges and opportunities that come with living in a foreign country. That's exactly why I support young people from Ecuador on their path as au-pairs to Germany.

During my au-pair year, I learned German up to B2 level. Today I pass on this knowledge and teach my candidates German A1 to optimally prepare them for their stay and the embassy appointment. My connection to both cultures allows me to optimally match candidates with host families and personally accompany the entire process.

Qualifications

• ✓ Personal au-pair experience in Berlin (2025, 1 year)
• ✓ German level B2
• ✓ Knowledge of German visa and embassy processes
• ✓ Bilingual: German and Spanish

My motivation

My goal is to make the dream of an au-pair stay in Germany possible for young Ecuadorians. I know from my own experience how enriching such a stay can be – both personally and professionally. That's why I accompany each candidate individually and wholeheartedly through the entire process.
